We’re seeking dedicated yoga teachers to join our team. We’re looking for individuals who prioritize cultural awareness, use inclusive language, and actively engage with diverse communities to create a respectful and authentic yoga experience. As part of our team, you’ll adapt curricula, integrate trauma-sensitive approaches, and contribute to a space that challenges stereotypes while valuing the origins and traditions of yoga.
Compensation Details:
- Our aim is to pay our teachers within the range of $150 to $200 USD per class.
- We cover expenses such as studio rental, local advertisements, and insurance.
- We provide a stipend for supplies.
Expectations for Our Teachers:
- Take initiative in finding and securing suitable locations for classes.
- Actively promote classes within the local community by networking with existing nonprofits, shelters, and schools.
- We are seeking teachers who demonstrates a commitment to self-awareness and personal growth, including a willingness to actively unpack and address any biases they may hold.
